Walk the Streets is a blog that was designed to inspire you to create new things and to encourage us to keep going. We are inspired by photography, good design, and interesting artists. Walk the Streets is a space where we’ll share our favorite findings, photography from the urban world, and our newest creations.
This is where design meets nature. We are inspired by the nature of the urban world, and we desire to inspire your world too. Urban is our nature. Design and illustration is in our nature.
Shawna L. Handke is the brains behind this operation. Although she grew up in rural Kansas, she feels just as at home in this renewed urban environment. She has been inspired by her surroundings and desires to use this as her creative outlet. In other words, no matter what her setting is, she feels most at home when she is illustrating and creating. While attending college, she studied graphic design and later set her interests to painting. Now, she has reconnected with the world of graphic design and illustration.
Soon the collaboration of Urbanature will begin, as one more artist joins the project. It has to remain a secret for now, but you will soon see the culmination of the two artists.
